Andreas Pasternack is a cult figure.
The Rostock saxophonist and singer has hosted the popular "Jazztime" show on NDR 1 Radio MV for over ten years. He has made guest appearances in Poland, Japan and the USA, is the winner of the MV Culture Prize and leads his own big band. His countless live performances and unmistakable stage presence have earned him a fan base that now extends far beyond the borders of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Andreas Pasternack never ceases to amaze with his versatility: jazzy sounds that offer scope for creativity and improvisation are followed by his own arrangements of popular oldies, German cult hits and international hits from Elvis Presley to Al Jarreau.
