Amber night hike

Equipped with UV headlamps, we start the amber search on the beach in the dark. Finding amber with UV light is child's play and therefore suitable for young and old. The evening tour starts shortly before sunset and lasts approx. 2 hours. The maximum group size is 12 people. We recommend wearing waterproof shoes such as rubber boots. The rest of the equipment, such as the UV headlamp and a safe container for collecting the amber, is provided. The tours are designed for families with children, the focus here is not on professional amber hunting but on the experience. Anyone hoping to find the Amber Room here will be disappointed. If we go on a tour, we will of course find something *, if these conditions change, the tours can also be canceled at short notice.

*Since your time here is limited and there is not always enough amber washed up on the beach, I can offer the following:
I can act as the Amber Bunny and make sure there is enough amber on the beach. My tours are of course about amber hunting, but also about the experience of walking on the beach at night, the glowing eyes of animals in the forest and the fascinating starry sky on the beach.

Together with you, I will lay the foundations: knowledge about amber and the best tricks for finding it on the beach.

Start or meeting point: This depends a little on the conditions on the beach, but the tours all take place in the Peenemünde and Karlshagen area on the Baltic Sea beach.
