Hellmuth Henneberg's career in the GDR was straightforward and atypical. Although he refused to join the NVA for three years, he volunteered for GDR television. Although he refused to work at AKTUELLEN KAMERA, he was not exmatriculated. By chance, he hosted the first talk shows on ELF99 in 1989 and then became Günter Gaus' editor at ZUR PERSON.
For 25 years, he presented the environmental magazine OZON, supervised TV magazines and hosted rbb ratings hits such as Heimatjournal. He became particularly popular as the "TV gardener" in Gartenzeit. He has been publishing non-fiction, children's and gardening books since 2002.
Now he has published his autobiography "Alle meine Leben - Dokumente eines Ossis", with which Hellmuth Henneberg will be a guest at the Ehm Welk House.
