Summer Lights - Ambrosian Worlds at Agneta Ambrosian's House of Artists
My Whitsun exhibition this year, "Summer Lights - Ambrosian Worlds", aims to reflect the beauty and warmth of my adopted home of the Mecklenburg Lake District in a modern context and take my guests on a journey to feel the anticipation of the coming summer.
I create portraits and abstract paintings as installations on large-format canvases. The truth of beauty is always an important aspect here, regardless of whether they are figurative or non-figurative representations. My artworks are three-dimensional, allowing me to involve the viewer haptically and emotionally. Light, movement and the effect of different materials (including recycled ones) always play a role here.
My artist's house is open to visitors as a whole, including the studio and workshop as well as the exhibition of my current works on 200 square meters.
