The state police orchestra, a musical ambassador for the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, invites you to an Advent concert.
It has been 75 years since a police orchestra was founded in Schwerin. One thing has remained the same throughout the years: traveling the country and bringing music to the people. This year, there will once again be an appealing program at Christmas time that will put you in an Advent mood, evoke memories of Christmas celebrations past, combine the familiar with the unknown and give you two hours of enjoyment, nostalgia and contemplation. In the spotlight is the singer Noora Koivumies, a renowned musical actress who has already won the hearts of the audience with her powerful and versatile voice in many LPO concerts. Coffee and cake (not included in the price) will also be offered on site to accompany the music in a Christmas atmosphere.
The Landespolizeiorchester has been under the musical direction of Cornelius During-Schwarzmaier since May 2023.
