Well-known and unknown winter and Christmas carols in compositions from the Baroque and Romantic periods and original compositions with texts from that time. Norbert Fietzke wrote the melodies to poems by C. Brentano, T. Storm, E. Kästner, R. Reinick, T. Fontane, J. W. von Goethe, J. v. Eichendorff for his wife, the soprano Liane Fietzke.
Composers such as G. F. Händel, J. F. Reichardt, W. A. Mozart, J. W. Franck, N. Fietzke are brought to life and made audible, which the duo 'con emozione' has compiled for this program.
You will hear compositions by Norbert Fietzke, but also traditional and popular Christmas melodies, sometimes to listen to, sometimes to sing along to.
On this afternoon, the anticipation of the upcoming festivities will be palpable.
Liane Fietzke, together with her husband Norbert Fietzke, the perfect accompanist on the piano, has already delighted many concert-goers with her clear, pure singing voice and her captivating manner.
