Visitors have the opportunity to explore the garden with its magnificent roses on these days from 10-18.
Over 300 different roses bloom in the former forester's lodge with adjacent grove, including the barbed wire, bamboo and chestnut rose, historic & wild roses, and an offshoot of the 1000-year-old Hildesheimer. The roses are signposted.
In addition to the walnut tree and 30 fruit trees, rare shrubs, perennials and newly planted unusual lilies and irises thrive here.
Home-made ceramics and collected objects complete the picture. You can also take a guided tour and enjoy the special atmosphere of the rose garden with coffee and cake.
