Who hasn't heard of Charles Dickens' Christmas Carol, "The Christmas Story" about the moneylender Ebeneezer Scrooge, the stingy, grumpy eccentric with a stony heart... But on a single night, Christmas night, he is visited by his deceased partner Jacob Marley and then by three other ghosts, who finally help him to open his heart to the world again and change his life.
Saskia Junggeburth reads excerpts from the novel, the reading is musically accompanied by Krischa Weber with Christmas carols, Christmas songs and improvisations on cello & singing saw.
