Author readings from crime novels to fiction, from scientific children's books to exciting historical novels about the world-famous author of "Treasure Island" and "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" in three halls of the UC Kino Rügen.
This Saturday is all about good books. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., nine author readings await you in three halls of the UC Kino Rügen, ranging from crime novels and fiction to scientific children's books and exciting historical novels about the world-famous author of "Treasure Island" and "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" (Robert Louis Stevenson).
A highlight will be the reading with actor Kai Wiesinger on his book "Love is what holds all this shit together".
In the foyer, book lovers are sure to find the right book for the long winter evenings ahead at the book tables from Hinstorff-Verlag and Klaus Ender Verlag.
The reading bones from the DRK workshop are a perfect reading utensil - see for yourself. Of course, the bookshop Reisen & Lesen will also be presenting book tables with literature ideas for Christmas as well as a selection of mangas and comics.
Following the readings, the two literary film adaptations "Woodwalkers" and "Der Buchspazierer" will be available for all bookworms with a combined ticket.
The 3rd Bergen Reading Festival is supported by the City of Bergen and the Vorpommern Fund.
Tickets are available now from the bookshop Reisen & Lesen, 03838 209060 and the Bergen Town Information Office, 03838 3152838. It's worth being quick, seats in the cinemas are limited and the coveted earlybird tickets are available. Further information is available at www.reisenundlesen.de
