The big anniversary gala with soloists, ballet and moderation Event office Wünsch

Members of the Prague Gala Symphony Orchestra present 200 years of JOHANN STRAUSS The great anniversary gala with internationally renowned soloists, moderation and ballet
A celebration of music and three-four time awaits you in 2025, when the 200th anniversary of the birth of the unforgettable waltz king, Johann Strauss, is celebrated. With a total of 16 enchanting operettas, including masterpieces such as "Die Fledermaus" and "Eine Nacht in Venedig", as well as a further 497 immortal compositions, Strauss has captured the hearts of people all over the world. To celebrate this outstanding anniversary, musicians from the Prague Gala Symphony Orchestra, internationally renowned soloists and the Johann Strauss Ballet invite you to a glittering afternoon ball. The sounds of Strauss and his companions from the golden and silver era of operetta will fascinate the audience and transport them into the world of three-four time. The members of the Gala Symphony Orchestra Prague have made it their mission to keep the enthusiasm for this music alive by bringing the melodies of the Waltz King to life with an authentic cast. With virtuoso skill and romantic sentimentality, they unleash a veritable waltz frenzy that brings the good old days back to life. Accompanied by internationally renowned sopranos, a tenor and the Johann Strauss Ballet, the sheer exuberance of the Strauss family's melodies is brought back to life. The two-hour program is entertainingly moderated and spiced up with anecdotes from the royal-imperial era. Comedic interludes, theatrical interactions between the soloists and enchanting dance choreographies make this great anniversary gala a very special experience. A potpourri of the most beautiful pieces by the brilliant Johann Strauss, including the "Emperor Waltz", the "Tritsch-Tratsch Polka" and, of course, the world-famous "Radetzky March", takes the audience back to the time of the kings and emperors of the 19th century. Melodious music, light-footed dancing and powerful singing merge with colorful costumes to create a feast for the senses. Let yourself be enchanted by the timeless elegance and charm of Strauss' music and experience a gala that will live long in the memory.
The artistic ensemble has been touring Europe since 2002 and has already delighted over a million guests. This makes it one of the most successful operetta ensembles of our time!
