2nd MV Cinema Day - Whisky with vodka
Cinema is a shared experience - MV KINOTAG is a nationwide cinema event in which all participating cinemas show the same film. In 2024, over 1800 guests enjoyed a shared cinema experience in 28 cinemas at the same time. The second edition will follow in 2025 with Whisky with Vodka by Andreas Dresen.
The film tells the story of Otto Kullberg (Henry Hübchen), a popular actor who drinks too much. After a botched day of shooting, a younger colleague (Markus Hering) is hired to shoot all the scenes twice. While Otto fights for his role, the boundaries between film and reality become blurred. He once had a love story with Bettina (Corinna Harfouch), who is now married to the director (Sylvester Groth). In the duel between the actors, no one wants to lose - everyone loves the truth, but everyone lies. And you shouldn't mix whisky with vodka.
