Market & Festival, Tradition & Folklore

From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. exhibitors present their products framed by the Festival of Low German.

Festival of the Low German Language
As usual, the cultural program will be varied. It is aimed at Plattsnackende and Plattinteressierte of all generations.

Arts and crafts market
In the historical ambience of the cultural monument Citadel Dömitz, popularly known as Fortress Dömitz, craftsmen and hobbyists offer their own manufactured goods for the 27th time.

Exhibitors can now apply to participate in the market. If you present historical handicrafts and/or offer traditional, self-produced goods, please register with the organizer city of Dömitz. In order to create the atmosphere of a historical market for the visitors, it is nice to design the stand accordingly and wear a suitable traditional costume or guild clothing.

The registration form for the artisan market can be found on the municipal website at www.doemitz.de. In paper form, this can be requested from the staff of the Museum Festung Dömitz under 038758 22401 or the Tourist Information City of Dömitz under 038758 22112.
