A day for the whole family at Leea Neustrelitz
We release energy on Energy Day MV. On this day, the new Carrera track will be inaugurated at the State Center for Renewable Energies (Leea). The Leea invites you to a family cup. Young and old can compete with and against each other. Grandma against grandchildren or parents against children can take part in exciting races and compete for the Carrera Cup. The Carrera cars are powered by bicycles, which generate the electricity for the vehicles. If you drive too fast and fly off the track, you have to get off yourself and put the car back on the track. Four people can drive at the same time, and the Carrera Cup provides a competitive feeling with quarter and semi-finals.
Another highlight is the guided tour of Stadtwerke Neustrelitz's biomass cogeneration plant. On site, visitors will learn first-hand how sustainable heat supply and the Neustrelitz district heating supply work. What role biomass plays in this and why Stadtwerke Neustrelitz has been committed to a sustainable energy future for many years.
Those who want to engage interactively with renewable energies can look forward to various hands-on stations in the Leea. In the E.Lab, there will be workshops that playfully impart knowledge about sustainable power generation and energy use. The "Energy in the River" playground and the interactive exhibition are also open to young and old explorers.
Stefanie Beitz and Matthias Grassow will be on hand as experts for anyone who would like to find out about funding opportunities for projects. Questions about the charging stations for electric vehicles will also be answered on site - Robert Grzesko will be available as a contact person.
The Leea team and Stadtwerke Neustrelitz are looking forward to celebrating 10 years of EnergieTag MV together with the guests and to organizing a varied day with exciting experiences. Register now for the Family Cup at info@leea-mv.de or call 03981 -4490-199.
