19:30 - BRUNKE
BRUNKE returns with his latest work "Wachstumsschmerz", a haunting musical experience that captures the deeply personal experiences and feelings of growing up. The song is a powerful soundtrack for all those who feel lost in the trials and tribulations of their twenties and tells of the highs and lows of this turbulent period of life.
After an impressive tour through ten cities and the remarkable chart placement at number 49 with the album "Versuchen & Scheitern" in October 2023, BRUNKE has found a solid sound. He remains true to his do-it-yourself approach and founded his own label, BRUNKE RECORDS, which is distributed by Sony Music Germany.
This independence gives him the freedom to determine his own musical path. "Wachstumsschmerz" marks another step in BRUNKE's artistic development. With sincere lyrics and a unique, honest and organic sound, BRUNKE shows his most mature artistic vision.
"Wachstumsschmerz" is the first harbinger of a five-song EP to be released in May/June, which will be released on a monthly basis - always on the first Friday of the month. This EP will once again be offered as an exclusive bundle, which BRUNKE has directed in every creative respect.
This EP was created by the sea, where BRUNKE is able to free himself from the urban hustle and bustle and create a fresh, summery indie sound. The decision to leave the city not only symbolizes the search for musical freedom and inspiration, but also contributed to this authentic creative process.
8:30 pm - YAENNIVER
Alone in the spotlight, vulnerable without pretense, strong by exposing her own truth, naked. Jennifer Weist, the voice of Jennifer Rostock, goes musically bare and now for the first time as YAENNIVER without her boys through the music landscape. The unveiling of her public soul striptease is called "Nackt" and is her first solo album after a decade with the band.
At home in music, Jennifer Weist regularly treats herself to a change of scenery away from band life, followed by appearances in television formats, a few stints as a jury member and the leap to presenter with her own music show. It was already clear that she wanted to showcase her inner life with a solo project at some point. However, the way is only clear for a change of direction on her own after Jennifer Rostock takes an indefinite break. After that, she will let the last ten years fade away in peace, lean back for a moment and work on her own fashion label called WYST as usual, before Jennifer Weist initiates her personal musical renaissance as YAENNIVER.
"Naked", food for the head, heart and senses. To do this, Jennifer has dug through the archives of her mind over the last few years and overcome some burdens in the midst of the pandemic. With new regulations and safety measures breathing down her neck, work on the album took a year, but it also made it a few songs longer. The solo sound is different, unexpected, but who wants to struggle with expectations when it comes to self-realization? "Nackt" is carried by powerful pop beats with hip-hop elements, while Jennifer's voice glides along as if no time had passed. The last album recordings for Jennifer Rostock were almost four years ago, the last tour over three years, but the vocal time-out turns out to be a time of maturing. For her voice and for Jennifer herself, who has grown as an artist and as a woman.
