The art of paper folding is not just fun and enjoyable for children. This challenging but fascinating hobby also offers new opportunities for adults of all ages. Japanese art also has a long tradition in Germany and is particularly popular in the run-up to Christmas.
For this reason, anyone interested is cordially invited to try out folding on Friday, November 7, 2025 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. and learn or refine new skills.
In this workshop, you will fold beautiful Christmas objects and learn the most important basics of this art form. You will also learn many important details about the correct choice and handling of paper.
The fact that origami can be very relaxing may be due to the fact that you have to concentrate on folding and are already looking forward to what you have created. Just give it a try!
The origami course takes place in the Mecklenburger Hallenhaus at the IGA Park, north entrance, coming from Groß Klein, in the upper seminar room and ends at around 5:30 pm. Participation costs €5 per person, payable on site.
A little tip: bring a transport container for your products!
