Further education and training opportunities for artists and creative professionals who work or want to work in education.
The forum sees itself as an experimental space at the interface between art and education. In addition to professional impulses and work phases in small groups, artistic methods are also used in the examination of module content. In continuing education, we assume that the artistic process - in which the cultural practitioners are experts - is the basis and the central cognitive process for the associated educational process. Artists remain artists in continuing education - they should not become teachers. Artists offer different approaches to understanding the world and interpreting knowledge. These special (educational) potentials need to be tapped into.
The training takes place in 5 full-day face-to-face events at the Vorpommern-Rügen Youth Art School in Stralsund. A certificate of completion is issued after successful completion of at least 4 modules. Participation in all modules is free of charge.
Module 1:
Artistic self-imageHow can the core of one's own art and the lifeworlds of children and young people enter into a creative dialog? In this module, we look at our own artistic self-image. We provide an overview of the training content and establish the forum as a playing field for artistic engagement with topics and discourses.
Module 2:Aesthetic education
The creative conversation between artists and students - which concerns everyone and bears a colorful signature. Where people really meet, argue constructively, come to an end without stopping. You want green, I want blue! You want left, I want straight ahead. Just a moment ago, artists were making art on their own.
