Here, in the midst of the Mecklenburg hills, the visitor can experience an interesting selection of wild animals but also numerous domestic animals.Impressive are the mighty bisons, the imposing ostrich family or the nimble coatis, which demonstrate climbing skills on thick ropes above the heads of the visitors.
Many animals can be experienced in the zoo without a fence, close up, so to speak. In the petting enclosure you are quickly surrounded by the little goats and sheep and on the monkey island the calicoes jump on your shoulder. One should not forget a side trip to the mouse parlor.
