Hanseatic culture at your fingertips: The UNESCO World Heritage city of Wismar with its tranquil harbor has a maritime flair. We love our brick city and bring our guests closer to the city culture through different program offers and many insider tips.

Our house offers space for large groups & classes with its group rooms and a large outdoor area with play and leisure facilities. In our own seminar wing you can hold undisturbed workshops at a complete price for room rental, conference equipment, drinks and WLAN. If you want to get out of the city, the nearby island of Poel, with its wide meadows and beaches, is the perfect place.

World Heritage House Wismar

Museum of the History of the Hanseatic City of Wismar in the Schabbell

The "Schabbell", one of the earliest Renaissance buildings in the Baltic region, the neighboring building at Schweinsbrücke 6 and the associated courtyards were reopened in December 2017 after extensive and careful renovation and now serve as exhibition and event space for the Stadtgeschichtliches Museum Wismar.

Tressow Castle

Climate forest Bad Kleinen

This 1.2 hectare climate forest area, financed by the "Waldaktie MV", is located around 800 m away on the northern shore of Lake Schwerin. The first planting campaign together with customers of the Schwerin-based energy supplier WEMAG AG took place here in spring 2013.

St. George Church

St. George's Church is one of the three large main churches in Wismar and an outstanding architectural monument of North German brick Gothic. It was once the place of worship for craftsmen and tradesmen. The origins of St. George's lie in the 13th century. Its construction thus falls into the turbulent time of the late Middle Ages and the Reformation.

Old Harbour of Wismar

Fish Leather Concept Store
