The Wulflam house is characterized by two things: firstly, the hall floor above the hall, which was very rarely built and served representational purposes, and secondly, the magnificent pillar gable.
With its polygonal pillars, alternation of glazed and un-glazed bricks, and elaborate ornamental forms, the gable shows a clear kinship with the ornamental facade of the town hall. This is to be understood as a clear indication of the sense of power of one of the leading council families of its time. Today, the Wulflamhaus houses a restaurant with a fantastic view of the town hall and St. Nikolai.
