The last house in the village - on the edge of the Recknitz Valley - is Gutshaus Ehmkendorf. A wonderful retreat for families, groups and seminars in the heart of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
The newly renovated house is a retreat for groups (5-25 people) who want to meet in harmony with nature and the seasons, further their education or treat themselves to some time out, or are simply looking for a special location for a celebration.
- The manor house and its natural park invite you to stay. The Recknitz valley, a beautiful glacial valley with great biodiversity, entices you to go on excursions - on foot, on horseback and on the water.
- Full board is possible, but the fully equipped kitchen also makes you want to cook in the group. For this purpose, the refrigerator is gladly filled with regional and own products in advance. For the evening of arrival, we are also happy to prepare something - from the classic Vesperplatte with game salami from our own hunt to a barbecue buffet, almost anything is possible - just as you wish!
- All eight rooms are lovingly furnished in a minimalist style and each has a small bathroom. In addition, the fireplace room (as a living room, meeting room or course room), the café (as a dining room or meeting place) and the former restaurant kitchen are available to the group as a kitchen.
A highlight are the regular cooking evenings with René Pieper, chef of Pieper Catering from Dettmannsdorf. Here, only regional and own products are used. Cooking takes place, depending on the weather, on the antique, cast-iron August Speiser stove, of which there are only two more in the whole of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, or on the fire cooking area in the park.
