The Nehringen water hiking rest area is located a few hundred meters downstream from the wooden drawbridge over the Trebel on the eastern bank.
Both a shallow bank and a wooden jetty (built in 2013) are suitable for launching and landing. Access is also possible with a canoe trailer. There is enough parking space.
The place to spend the night is 200 m above the Trebel on the grounds of the youth guesthouse Graureiher. From May to September you have the choice: Overnight stays in own tents, in simple log cabins or in the bed houses of the youth guest house. There are warm showers, covered washing-up facilities and a nice campfire site. Kayaks or canoes are available for rent.
