In the Mecklenburg Lake District not far from Plau am See lies the Barkow manor house built in 1913 by the Hülße family. The large garden borders directly on the Müritz-Elde waterway. The house was completely renovated in recent years and furnished as a guesthouse with eight apartments, two single rooms and ten double rooms. The Barkow Manor rents out canoes and bicycles.
Café 7 is a colorful organic cultu café and the farm store of the SiebenGiebelHof. Here you can fill your pockets with the farm products after enjoying the Italian coffee specialties and the homemade cake: Preferential milk, yogurt, cheese, cottage cheese, sausage, meat and wood oven bread.
