Liepen moated castle is located on an island surrounded by an idyllic park. It was built in the 15th century by the Count Hahn family, who live here again today. The medieval vaulted cellar belongs to the oldest part of the castle complex and can be visited
In the rustic vaulted cellar from the early 15th century, tasting events of the house's own bitter liqueur, the Old Pomeranze, are offered from 15 people by appointment. The cellar can also be rented for registry offices, celebrations, seminars or events. In addition, a visit to the farm store of the Hahnsche Gutsmanufaktur is worthwhile. Guided tours of the castle ensemble with information about the history of the castle, village and the family, the Counts Hahn, are organized on request. The park with herb garden and espalier fruit invites for a walk. Cultural events are regularly held at the castle.
Two vacation apartments are available in the rose house of the moated castle:
The Rose House is located on an island. In the left apartment you have a direct exit to the outside and a fireplace. Both apartments are located directly on the water. The forest offers many beautiful walks within walking distance. Two bicycle tours lead through the village Liepen.
