The fine sandy beach of Warnemünde offers state-of-the-art accessible beach access during the season and a closed service chain for mobility-impaired guests at beach access 4.
Warnemünde has been home to one of the most modern accessible beach accesses in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern since 2014. Stairway No. 4 (near Teepott/Lighthouse) offers a closed service chain for mobility-impaired guests during the season. The Baltic Sea shore as well as the beach chairs are accessible via the walkway with non-slip slabs. At the beach chair rental it is also possible to rent an accessible beach chair, a bathing wheelchair, which allows bathing in the Baltic Sea with the help of an attendant. An accessible toilet and parking spaces are available in the immediate vicinity of the beach access. Official assistance dogs are also allowed on the beach accesses marked accessible. The use of the beach is free of charge in the Rostock seaside resorts.

Water rescue: The beach sections 1 to 24 in Warnemünde are guarded by the lifeguards of the DRK Wasserwacht during the season from May 15 to September 15. Several lifeguards work here on a voluntary basis and ensure the safety of bathers.
