One can learn something about the landscape’s formation and the way the human’s occupation influenced its development. The unique flora and fauna of the nature park greatly fascinate the visitors. The nature park was registered in 2005 and covers 540 square kilometres. It is stamped by deeply cut in cross-valleys by the Warnow, many lakes and extensive forests.

Visitors of the information centre can borrow a backpack called “discovery-backpack”. It holds field glasses, a magnifying glass, a measuring tape, books to determine species and a seat cushion.
