The late Romanesque village church in Vietlübbe near Gadebusch from the early 13th century is considered one of the oldest brick buildings in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The church impresses with a special feature: the ground plan stands on an equilateral Greek cross. The organ and pews date from around 1865, when the church was completely renovated.
