The village church Retgendorf is part of the Evangelic Lutheran parish Zittow-Retgendorf in Retgendorf of Dobin am See in Northwest Mecklenburg.
The village church Retgendorf is a Gothic brick church with three-part carved winged altar. The village church Retgendorf was first mentioned in a document in 1241. The present brick building, however, was not built until the 15th century.
Various repairs were carried out in the 18th and 19th centuries. In the 60s of the 20th century further extensive restorations took place. In the 1980s, the facade and windows were renovated. The bell of the church was cast in 1939.
