The early Gothic village church of Hohen Viecheln is a listed church building in Hohen Viecheln.
The 33-meter-long and twelve-meter-wide Gothic hall church in Hohen Viecheln on the northern shore of Lake Schwerin, which was built around 1310, has almost city-church dimensions. The roof was originally much steeper and higher, and in the east a dazzlingly decorated gable shone into the distance. After neglect during the Thirty Years' War and the following years, to which several stained glass windows also fell victim, the gable was torn down shortly after 1700 and the roof was renewed.
