The Usedom Rock Garden is a complex collection of bedload from the last ice age of European significance
More than 150 erratic boulders can be marveled at on a circular path about 300 meters long. The oldest stone is about 2 billion years old. Since March 25, 2011 an eye gneiss with 11 tons is the heaviest stone of the rock garden. The Forest Cabinet in Ückeritz on the Island of Usedom promises surprising views of the forest. The museum of the Neu Pudagla forestry office shows the development of the forest over a period of 400 million years on about 80 square meters.
On display are numerous wooden cross-sections of different tree species as well as taxidermied forest inhabitants, including foxes, beavers and weasels. In the nature quiz, visitors have the opportunity to guess the names of plants and animals of the forest. Several hundred pygmy bats roost on the gable in summer.
