We, the UBB, not only bring our guests by rail with the characteristic blue and white trains congestion-free across the Island of Usedom, but equally distinguish ourselves on the travel market. With the 10 comfortable coaches in UBB design, we have considerably expanded our field of activity. Annually we offer as UBB day trips in autumn/winter as well as in summer for locals and tourists.
The excursions are varied and designed for young and old. Shopping tours, family trips, sightseeing tours, exhibitions, city tours and trips to special events, we have a wide selection for everyone. But not only day trips are offered. Since 2008, the travel offer has expanded to include vacation trips. Due to the strong cooperation with some partners, these have been steadily increased. But not enough, since February 2014, UBB has been offering its customers travel on its own long-distance bus line. In addition to the extensive day trip program, there is now the possibility to reach the regions Fischland-Darß-Zingst, Rügen, Usedom, Stralsund, Greifswald and vice versa Hamburg, Schwerin, Güstrow, Wismar, Bad Doberan, Warnemünde, Rostock or Berlin via 10 different lines.
In a first step, UBB offers these connections weekly on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. If there is sufficient demand, additional service days are possible. Rostock Laage Airport will be integrated into the UBB route concept as a central hub and transfer point. This will link the airport to the three most important vacation areas in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, as well as the Hanseatic Cities of Greifswald and Stralsund. However, the long-distance line offers more than just the possibility of arriving and departing. It is also ideal for day trips. For example, a day trip to Bad Doberan can be combined with a ride on the Molli to Kühlungsborn or a harbor tour from Warnemünde can be included in the vacation planning.
