Discover Ahrenshoop through the eyes of the painters of the artists' colony on our guided bike tour along the Ahrenshoop Art Trail. The bike tour takes place from April to September on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month.
From spring to autumn you can follow in the footsteps of Ahrenshoop's prominent bathers, especially writers, with the author Dr. Kristine von Soden on the monthly tour ahrenshoop.höchstpersönlich.
Events and exhibitions
The cultural heritage of the village as a former artists' colony and fishing village is cultivated with a varied program of events that reflects the diversity of traditions and artistic life in Ahrenshoop. The annual cultural highlights include the Ahrenshoop Jazz Festival, the Long Night of Art, the final concert of the Naturklänge series, the Althäger Fishing Regatta, the Ahrenshoop Literature Days and the Ahrenshoop Film Nights.
For our younger guests, the Ahrenshooper Children's Summer from mid-June to mid-September with many (creative) offers such as handicrafts with natural materials or amber hunt ensures unforgettable vacation experiences.
All year round changing exhibitions with works from the time of the artists' colony to contemporary art are offered in Ahrenshoop, among others, our gallery Kunstkaten Ahrenshoop.
Blue Flag
Since 1998 the "Blue Flag" is flying at the main tower of the DLRG at the beach entrance 12 in the Baltic resort Ahrenshoop. This is an international environmental symbol that stands for good bathing water quality as well as an audited environmental and safety management and for which the spa administration successfully applies every year.
