The Heringsdorf Tourist Information Centre provides information on accommodation, sights, activities and events, and you can also borrow books.

Staudt, Oppenheim, Bleichröder, Fontane, Mann, Gorki... the list of big names who have left their footprints in Heringsdorf is long. Extravagant Wilhelminian-style villas with park-like grounds, a wide promenade and the salubrious coastal forest offered well-heeled city dwellers a unique ambience that can still be experienced today.
Today, the extensive network of beech forest paths in Heringsdorf forms the basis of the 1st spa and healing forest. The soothing mixture of sea air and forest climate is playfully realised here in a beneficial therapy concept.
