Welcome to the community of Zierow, located directly on the Baltic Sea coast in the Wismar Bay.

The Tourist Information and Community Center is located in the heart of Zierow. Here, visitors can obtain information about the village and the surrounding area as well as interesting facts about the region of Northwest Mecklenburg. There is brochure material and current event information available, and wireless Internet access is also available to all visitors free of charge. Sun worshippers can book their beach chair here directly and bookworms will find a large selection of novels and non-fiction books in the book exchange corner. Information on the history of the municipality of Zierow can be obtained by those interested in history during a visit to the small village museum.

World Heritage House Wismar

Museum of the History of the Hanseatic City of Wismar in the Schabbell

St. George Church

Bothmer Castle & Castle Park

Bothmer Castle is one of the largest baroque palaces in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It was built in 1726-1732 by the architect Johann Friedrich Künnecke. The builder was Imperial Count Hans Caspar von Bothmer.

Fish Leather Concept Store

Plüschow Castle - Mecklenburg House of Artists

In 1763, the Hamburg merchant Philipp Heinrich Stenglin had the two-story brick Plüschow Castle built between Wismar and Lübeck. Today the castle is used for many cultural events and invites especially art lovers.
