The theater of the Hanseatic City of Wismar has 4 venues with different character
The Great House has 556 seats, the stage is 12 x 8 m and there is an orchestra pit. Small venues are the Chamber Stage with 72 seats and the Theatercafé with a seating capacity of 60. For the small form is also suitable the theaterclause with 40 seats.

In 1763, the Hamburg merchant Philipp Heinrich Stenglin had the two-story brick Plüschow Castle built between Wismar and Lübeck. Today the castle is used for many cultural events and invites especially art lovers.
