In the wooded area between the villages of Laeven and Triepkendorf lies the well-kept clearing "Spring". The Spring is a popular destination for hikers and a resting place for carriage rides.
In 1998, the rest area for hikers was redesigned and designated. The large shelter invites everyone to rest during a hike. Information boards provide interesting facts about the songbird avenue, insect shelters and native trees. One attraction is certainly the water spring, which keeps the stone basin always filled. In the past - so the story goes - this spring was a blessing for people and cattle. Everyone always found fresh drinking water here, even in times of need. The traditional custom of fetching Easter water is also linked to the spring.
