The Feldberg Meadow Park is something very special. It is an "open-air museum" in which the "exhibits" are not dead specimens or models but grow, smell, fly, hum and sing. Here is the opportunity to experience how traditional management in the form of different mowing periods can develop a biodiversity that has largely disappeared from today's cultural landscape.
Thus, the broad-leaved orchid, cuckoo campion and meadow foamwort bloom here.
The meadow park is extraordinarily rich in small habitats: in addition to the differently used meadows, fallow areas and willow bushes, we also find individual groups of trees, fruit trees, colorful hedges and ditches. The area can be hiked completely on footbridges in order to disturb the natural growth processes as little as possible.
