The Slavic hilltop castle is located southwest of Camitz in a wooded area. The castle rampart with a diameter of approx. 80 m is still well recognizable. The castle was strategically well protected at the Recknitz valley.
The Slavs built a rampart only on the land side. Towards the valley it was without a rampart construction, but here there were certainly other protective measures in the form of palisade walls. The term "Schwedenschanze", which appears here and there for the site, is misleading and wrong. Position: 54°10'50.0 "N 12°35'12.4 "E
