On east wind days Tremt is a popular shallow water spot on the Greifswalder Bodden. The entry area is a bit narrow, but you can do it on the water and on land really wide. A fat nozzle provides extra power in kites and sails.
Tremt is a small quiet village, which you will find between Greifswald and Stralsund. In the midst of the scenic nature you are mostly among yourselves and it is largely spared by the tourist crowds. In the summer months, the spot is also part of the village's own beach. This is right next to the boarding area and should be avoided with respect to the bathers. Especially on east wind days, this spot is a real recommendation and so you will find many kiters and windsurfers on the water. In the month of May, the standing area is also populated by hornfish anglers. Then you should rather approach other spots in the area. Apart from the narrow entry area, there is enough space both on land and on the water. The spot is suitable for wind directions from N to SE.
