White villas and blue sea - in Germany's oldest Baltic resort you can surf against an intoxicating backdrop. You can enjoy the view in a particularly relaxed way with sideshore winds from the west and east-northeast.
World famous, yet quiet and tranquil. Heiligendamm is Germany's oldest Baltic resort. For over 200 years, bathers here have enjoyed the unique flair of the "White City by the Sea", as Heiligendamm is also known. On the water you can enjoy a great view of the impressive buildings. Also at this spot it goes from the car quickly on the water. No 50 meters and once over the dike and you are already on the beach. But be careful in the water. In regular intervals, for coastal protection, groynes are rammed into the water. For beginners and those who have made up their minds at short notice, there is a surf school on site. There you can learn kiting and windsurfing or rent a SUP board on windless days. The spot is suitable for wind directions from W to NE.
Facilities:
- Toilets, waste disposal
- Offer of the surf school - kite, windsurf, SUP
- Parking facilities < 250 m far away, fee required
