This is the top spot on the Müritz - and also the only one where you can kite on the water. The small but fine sandy beach slopes so gently that the water is shallow for 500 meters. You will have the most fun from southwest to north. If the water is calm, you can pass the time with beach volleyball or rent a SUP from the windsurfing school.
Boek is the only village on the eastern shore of the Müritz and is located on the edge of the Müritz National Park. Nature lovers get their money's worth here and can experience varied and unique nature. In addition to the vast pine forests and large moors, the beech forests of the national park were only in 2011 named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The spot offers you a large standing area and thus enough space on the water. On land, the space is not quite as large, so you have to be especially considerate of bathers and vacationers. A surf school is ready for you at the campsite and if the wind doesn't want it, there are enough leisure activities for an exciting day on the water or on land. For kitesurfers this spot is the only possibility to kite on the Müritz. For this purpose, an extra kite zone has been created, which is marked with buoys. The spot is suitable for wind directions from SW to N.
Facilities:
- Toilets, showers, waste disposal (camping site).
- Offer of the surf school - windsurf and SUP school, kayak rentals
- Parking facilities < 250 m away, free of charge
