We are an accredited VDWS surf school with high quality equipment and well trained surf instructors in a huge flat water area and therefore one of the most beautiful surfing areas in Germany.
The surf and canoe base is a National Park partner and is located on the C 16 campsite in Boek, directly on the Müritz River. It spreads a friendly, stress-free and family atmosphere. Visitors can expect one of the most beautiful surfing areas in Europe. The eastern shore of the Müritz is a huge standing area with clear water and fine sugar sand. It is ideal for beginners and advanced surfers of all ages. Even 7- and 8-year-old non-swimmers are taught here in specially designed "dwarf courses". In knee-deep water they learn windsurfing quickly and easily. The surf base is VDWS-certified and uses high-quality equipment from GUN, Fanatic, Starboard and other established manufacturers.
In addition to windsurfing, "Surf-Hecht" also offers its guests the possibility to explore the landscape from the water with canoes and kayaks. Pedal boats and swim boats also provide refreshing summer fun. StandUpPaddling (SUP) also enjoys immense popularity. Interested people can try out stand-up paddling at any time or learn in a 2-hour SUP course after registration.
Another highlight is the guided canoe tour. Even inexperienced paddlers can enjoy this nature experience. With a nature guide, you will go to see kingfishers, white-tailed eagles and ospreys. The daily tour leads along the eastern shore of the Müritz, through the Bolter Canal to the national park lakes and lasts 3 to 4 hours. Prior registration is also required for this tour.
