A change of perspective is guaranteed on our two-hour city tours, as we explore the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage City of Stralsund from a kayak.
After a short introduction on safety and basic paddling knowledge, our two-hour tour starts at Dänholm, from where you already have a fantastic view of the unique city skyline. The route takes us through the Querkanal between the harbor island and the mainland past the impressive warehouse buildings. At the end of the Querkanal we turn around and explore the harbor island now from the other side, from where we have a good view of the pilot house, the Ozeaneum and the legendary Gorch Fock. At our pre-arranged meeting points you will learn interesting facts about the Hanseatic City of Stralsund and its history. Our fleet consists of 6 mango-colored CustomLine boats from Prijon. The two-person kayaks are characterized by excellent straight running and high tipping stability, which makes them suitable for paddling novices without any problems. The large hatches simplify entry and exit, and the high backrest and footrests and thigh pads allow for a high level of seating comfort. In the waterproof bulkhead with rubber lid you can take what you need on the way. Life jackets are obligatory and of course available in different sizes. If you wish, we can also provide splash blankets to protect you from getting wet on cooler days. From April to October our paddling tours take place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as well as three times a day on public holidays.
