Bad Doberan station is located on the Tessin-Wismar railroad line and is the starting station of the Molli narrow-gauge railroad in the direction of Baltic resort Kühlungsborn.
Directly opposite the standard-gauge tracks of the Tessin-Wismar railroad line, the narrow-gauge Mecklenburgische Bäderbahn Molli starts at Bad Doberan station. Bad Doberan is the starting or end point of the Molli, which is hauled by steam locomotives.
