In the heart of Mecklenburg Switzerland
We rent since June 2011 a charming thatched cottage in Bülow on Lake Malchin - in the heart of Mecklenburg Switzerland.
It is quietly and romantically located on the edge of the village, in the middle of lush nature. While in summer the blue shines through only in places, in winter you can enjoy a beautiful view of the lake, thanks to the unfoliaged trees. Inside the house, open floor plan, fireplace and lots of wood paneling create an individual, cozy atmosphere. The terrace nestles against the house towards the lake and is not the worst place on earth on cozy summer evenings.
Important note for families: In the house there are steep partly open stairs. Therefore, the property is suitable for guests with small children only to a limited extent. The property is located on a slope.

In the nearby surroundings it is a 2-minute walk to the lake with jetty and swimming opportunity, you get to see hedgehogs, fox, hare, deer ... and with luck the shy white-tailed eagles, the Mecklenburg landscape invites you to extended walks
The Schlosshotel Schorssow (3 km) offers a wellness area, a cake buffet with a view of the lake and the castle restaurant in the evenings.
In the further surroundings lies among other things Ulrichshusen, the charming heart of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival with its exquisite concerts and other cultural and gastronomic offerings, you will find more than a few castles, manor houses and parks worth exploring, Waren/Müritz, if you are in the mood for a sailing atmosphere, window shopping and street cafés; not to forget the highly recommended Müritzeum and of course the Müritz National Park, which starts just behind Waren.
