Experience art and jazz in the old watermill Müggenwalde
Built in 1530, the watermill has been in dialog with contemporary art since 1990. A publicly accessible collection of sculptures by artists from the region awaits you. Changing areas in the landscape conservation area display large-scale works. Water power moves sculptures.
Artist Thomas Reich presents his works of art - he paints and works with various materials such as wood, bronze, iron and beeswax. You can admire his works in the garden and in the studio.
But it's not just art lovers who are drawn to the old watermill. There are also several bee colonies buzzing around the extensive grounds. The artist's son, Simon Reich, runs a beekeeping business on the premises. Species-appropriate colony management and careful processing of the honey guarantee the highest quality in terms of taste and purity.
In addition to the art experience, there is also delicious honey to buy. If that's not a good combination... So let's go! We look forward to seeing you!
