The classicistic castle Marihn is located in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District. Guests can enjoy a wonderful vacation here in five suites and two double rooms.
The well-kept manor house is one of the most beautiful castles in northern Germany and was rebuilt at the end of the 19th century by a student of the famous architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel (1781-1841). After World War II, the castle served as refugee accommodation for a long time and in GDR times it housed, among other things, a consumer shop, a kindergarten and a hairdresser.
Today, the rooms and suites promise luxurious castle atmosphere and at the same time a wonderful retreat that invites you to relax and rest. In the Luisen Salon you can enjoy a breakfast with regional specialties. The Green Salon and the Fireplace Room offer space for downtime and social encounters over a cup of tea or a glass of wine. The Red Room is suitable for smaller, exclusive celebrations and meetings. The spacious park with its countless roses form a perfect idyll of tranquility.
