High quality cottage furnished in country style is suitable for 4 people on the first floor. Renting the whole renovated house for 6 people is possible. The cottage is equipped with a large kitchen-living room, fireplace and 2 bathrooms with sauna. It is situated very quietly embedded in a hilly landscape. The natural bathing place is within walking distance.
We have been a regional partner of the Biosphere Reserve Schaalsee for years. The property, which is oriented according to ecological aspects, is located in Sandfeld near Kneese in a quiet outer location in the nature reserve with approx. 309 km². It was originally a day laborer's house and belonged to the Dutzow estate. A private parking lot and a shelter for own bicycles can be used for free. The natural bathing place in Dutzow can be reached via a beautiful sandy path along the green belt (formerly Kollonnenweg).
In spring, the gray herons breed in the beech forest in the region and in autumn the cranes gather at the Schaalsee. The Baltic Sea, e.g. Kühlungsborn, as well as the cities of Lübeck, Wismar and Schwerin are in the immediate vicinity. In a few hours by car you can also reach the big cities of Hamburg and Berlin with their many sights.
