The Karower Meiler, which is the gateway to the nature park, is located directly at stop 07a Besucherzentrum Nossentiner Heide. Here, young and old can learn all about the flora and fauna. Interactive learning and discovery are very important here. For example, there is a barefoot trail with different surfaces and an animal long jump where you can compete with them.
In Karow am See, you also have the option of changing to the Südbahn seasonal train service. In summer, on Friday afternoons, at weekends and on public vacations, the ODEG RB 19 runs from Plau am See via the island town of Malchow to Waren and from Plau am See to Parchim.
