The island of Hiddensee can be reached by the passenger ships of the shipping company Hiddensee from Schaprode all year round and during the season (from April to October) from Stralsund as well as a trip from Wiek and Dranske. The shipping company Hiddensee offers Bodden trips through the National Park “Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft”. In autumn from September to October the popular crane tours take place at the harbors of Schaprode, Stralsund and Zingst.
