The Radler Cafe in the old granary of the green village oasis of Hohenbüssow in the Tollensetal valley is located on the EISZEITROUTE between Demmin and Klempenow and invites cyclists and hikers to take a break and linger. Guests can also expect a socio-cultural center with its own events in a community of 70 people.
The former granary offers musicians and writers from all over Germany a place for self-development. Concerts and symposia are held alongside the workshops. In addition, tolerance education projects and drumming projects are offered at schools. The association is also committed to sustainable agriculture without factory farming and the use of poisons, waste avoidance, the sustainable use of energy and, last but not least, the reduction of traffic emissions and the expansion of cycle paths and public transport.
Our village ... A walk . . .
How do you do? We invite you to take a tour of our village on the southern slope of the Tollense, which meanders through the valley and flows into the Peene from Neubrandenburg via Altentreptow to Demmin. From the valley, a cobbled chestnut avenue leads directly to the hill of the Tollense valley in the 70-soul district of Alt Tellin. The green of the trees becomes denser and more colorful at the beginning of the village.
The paved road continues past the village church on the left, surrounded by a long fieldstone wall and lined with old gravestones. We now follow this church wall on the well-trodden country lane to the left. After another 30 meters, the large former granary looms ahead. The forecourt is paved with cobblestones. A large terrace with chairs and tables in the sunlight and a wooden sign "proVie Theater" welcome walkers and cyclists . . .
